One Million Mile Saabs

So you want a free car? How about a free Saab? Well if you do here is what you need to do:

  1. Get in your car
  2. Go to your nearest gas station
  3. Buy a lotto ticket

or

Drive a million miles in your Saab like Peter Gilbert did in his 1989 Edwardian Gray Saab 900 SPG. Now he did do it with the original engine and turbo but that is optional for the rest of you. As a way to show their appreciation to Mr. Gilbert, Saab brought him to the North American Saab Owners Convention in Lake George, N.Y. There he was presented with brand new, 260 hp Saab 9-5 Aero (MSRP $38,735) and was first congratulated by Saab Automobile USA General Manager Jay Spenchian.

In honoring Mr. Gilbert, Spenchian was quoted as saying “Having personally been with Peter Gilbert in his 900 SPG as we crossed their magical finish line together, one cannot help but being impressed by the condition of car and driver after one million miles. Our offer of a new Saab to any U.S. customer who equals this achievement, should be seen as a token of appreciation for the enduring loyalty and confidence in Saab.”

Saab also announced a special perk to those drivers that choose to buy a new Saab 9-3 Aero or 9-5 Aero this year. Mr. Gilbert like all those that choose to do so may attend the two-day enhanced driving course courtesy of Saab Aero Academy at Road Atlanta, Georgia. This $1350 offer is extended to all that wish to accept it.

Mr. Gilbert is to be the first of many who will recieve a new Saab courtesy of this promotion by GM and Saab. For those that qualify for the free 2007 Saab 9-5 Aero must do so by offer ends Dec. 31, 2007 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time or can kiss the free car goodbye.
